Home Altrove reflects upon the invisible communication between actions and thoughts, between what is here and what is elsewhere, starting from the assumption that the performance act can be considered a ‘home’ in terms of a personal, functional, emotional archive, therefore the place where our identity arises.
Home Altrove aims to explore ever-changing forms of language that flow within a heterogeneous environment in which boundaries – between spaces, languages and directions – is a turbulent but also enriching place.
At a time in history when the concept of ‘world home’ echoes in our global consciousness, choreography, sound and video frames are reflected on stage to give some thought to how fragile is the present state of things and to open up a question: in the ever-changing contemporary world we live in, what is ‘home’?
